Introduction

Crewlink respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting your personal data.

This privacy statement explains what information we collect from you, how it is used and how we protect it.

The below privacy statement complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (“GDPR”) and the relevant national legislation of the EU Member States implementing the GDPR (together the “Regulations”).

Crewlink is considered a data controller under the Regulations.

Personal data

Crewlink collects and uses your certain personal data we have received directly from you.  The personal data that Crewlink processes about you is:

  • your name (first name, last name, maiden name),
  • address/contact details such as telephone number and email address,
  • banking and tax information – if applicable,
  • nationality,
  • gender,
  • date of birth,
  • identity card or passport details,
  • health information (medical certificates),
  • flying licenses/attestations,
  • flight crew log books, relevant certificates,
  • photos and information for any security checks,
  • psychometric tests, feedback, survey responses, aptitude tests – if applicable.

As per the Regulations, some of this data is regarded as special categories of personal data (e.g., medical information).

Crewlink do not collect personal data of persons under 18 years of age.

Processing and purpose of use of your personal data

Crewlink uses gathered personal data to provide recruitment and employment services. Hence, collects, uses, administers, records, transfers and stores (“Processes”) personal data in order to efficiently perform the below services agreed, e.g.:

  • providing recruitment and/or related services to or for you and to facilitate the recruitment process;
  • allowing you to apply for jobs on our website;
  • determine whether candidates meet the relevant skills and requirements to fulfill roles;
  • improving website offerings to you including via the use of cookies;
  • performing, managing and/or maintaining your employment;
  • for accounting and payment processing;
  • to answer queries or/and complaints;

Crewlink also processes data to comply with applicable laws, e.g. export regulations, and generally for any other purpose that is necessary or related to the relationship between you and Crewlink.

Disclosure of personal data

Crewlink may disclose your personal data to relevant members of the Crewlink group (e.g. Training, Human Resources, Dalmac, Workforce International Contractors ltd, Nobox HR Outsourcing Solutions, Cabin Crew Europe and associated companies), prospective employers or airline clients and relevant third parties who perform related functions on Crewlink’s behalf. Any such disclosure will be only to the extent required for the Purposes and in accordance with the Regulations. Crewlink may disclose personal data in order to comply with legal requirements (e.g. in relation to legal claims, audits, investigations or consultations with competent authorities and social security agencies), to respond to demands or to protect the interests of individuals. Disclosures shall be made in accordance with the Regulations.

Crewlink may disclose your personal data to associated companies (e.g. affiliates), business and joint venture partners, as well as subcontractors at home and abroad. We will only disclose your personal data once it has been ensured that there is an adequate level of data protection and/or when we have signed a personal data processing agreement in accordance with the Regulations.

These are identified as “Purposes”.

Crewlink processes your personal data only in accordance with the Regulations as applicable.

Crewlink reserves the right to update and/or amend this privacy policy from time to time in relation to our legitimate business interests (amendments to the Regulations or updates to the services provided by Crewlink).

Please note that will not consider you for any positions without your prior consent.

Disclosure of your personal data

Crewlink may disclose your personal data to the relevant groups of companies (, Nobox HR Outsourcing Solutions, Nobox Pilot Solutions, Workforce International Contractors Ltd, Dalmac), employers or airline clients and relevant third parties who perform related functions on Crewlink`s behalf.

However, such disclosure will be only to the extent required for the Purposes and in accordance with the Regulations.

In order to comply with legal requirements (e.g. in relation to legal claims, audits, investigations or consultations with competent authorities, social security agencies), Crewlink may disclose/present your personal data to respond to demands or to protect the interests of individuals. The above shall be made in accordance with the Regulations.

Crewlink may disclose your personal data to associated companies, business and joint partners, as well as subcontractors at home and abroad. We will only disclose your personal data once it has been ensured that there is an adequate level of data protection and/or when we have signed a personal data processing agreement in accordance with the Regulations.

Protection of personal data, data security

Crewlink understands that your personal data must be protected, and it is our priority to ensure your personal data is stored securely, accessible by authorized persons and transferred in accordance with this Privacy Statement and after the implementation of appropriate technical, security and organizational measures in compliance with the Regulations.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the Regulations. Crewlink do not allow third party service providers to use/process your personal data for their own purposes and only permits to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with Crewlink`s instructions.

However, there are third parties that may unlawfully try to access systems or intercept transmissions or communications containing personal data. Crewlink continuously uses its reasonable efforts in line with industry standards to protect personal data of customers but cannot absolutely guarantee that such unlawful actions will not occur.

Crewlink have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidently lost, used, altered, disclosed in an unauthorized way. Crewlink has created procedures and processes in case of a data breach has been suspected/ has occurred (Data Breach Policy).

Your rights as data subject

As a data subject (your personal data is processed by Crewlink) for the Purposes mentioned above, you have the right to access your personal data, request a copy of and request to update or correct, your personal data that is held by Crewlink.

Please note, there is no fee if you wish to access your personal data.

To the extent that the processing of personal data by Crewlink occurs based on your consent you have the right to withdraw your consent. Such withdrawal will however not restrict Crewlink in continuing to process personal data if the justification therefor does not rely on your consent and is still necessary for any of the mentioned Purposes.  You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by Crewlink, to request that Crewlink restrict the processing of your personal data or request that Crewlink erase your personal data, all on the grounds mentioned in the Regulations.  Crewlink will respond to all requests in accordance with the Regulations.

You have the right to file a complaint with the personal data protection authority if you think the processing of your personal data is not in compliance with Regulations, or if Crewlink does not respond to your requests in timely manner or inappropriate manner, or if your requests are not answered at all.

Crewlink only stores your personal data for the duration necessary and as permitted by the Regulations or/and other laws applicable.

Please note, by submitting your personal data to Crewlink, you agree to the terms of this privacy statement and to its processing in accordance with the Regulations.
